Elected Mayors?
At A Recent Wigan Branch Meeting Members Called for a Democratic Public Referendum to Elect a Mayor with Real Power and an End to the Cabinet System in the Town Hall.
UKIP Scored an Amazing Result in the European Election in June, in one of Labours Safest Seats UKIP Polled nearly 12 Thousand Votes putting them in Second Place behind Labour,
The BNP Polled the Regions Highest Vote in Wigan, but at 7517 Votes were well behind
UKIP.
This was an Amazing Result in a Mayor National Election to Put the Tories into Third
Place.
